Typical Kohls. Did have an older employee yell at my friend and I for using the fitting room near the bras and panties since we had items from all over the store. Said if we were trying on women's we needed to go to the women's fitting room and juniors and so forth. Then preceded to stand over us like a hawk so we didn't mess up her fitting room. Felt like a child being scolded by her grandmother. Now whenever we go, we make sure to never use that ladies fitting room.
The store is very messy and disorganized. It also seems they are highly understaffed in cashier's atleast. 10 registers and only 4 open. (Sounds like Walmart right?!) They do have some really good deals especially when you have Kohl's cash to spend. We love this store but the messiness is becoming a little out of hand.
I had seen many staff members putting clothing away in the Girls dept, not one offered any help for the hr that I spent in that dept., even using the hook many times myself to pull down clothes too high to reach. Then when I needed to order a coat in my son's size (that they did not have in stock in their small late Oct. selection!) at the Kiosk the 2 girls laughing and talking at the Customer Service desk refused to come help me bc they "didn't know how to use the Kiosk". They clearly never tried to learn as they never moved from there positions to help but instead radioed a manager to come which they found funny. The manager was shocked that they were never trained to use the Kiosk nor tried to learn on their own and made them come watch, which was awkward bc they had "uninterested" written all over their faces. So while all 4 of us and my inpatient 6 yr old stood there gathered round the Kiosk we couldn't even find the size and color that I was looking for online to order to store!
Not much of a guys store unless you like the clothing shopping experience. I usually go to the kitchen area since I like to cook and I'm done. My wife likes this place for the savings but it always raised the question, why is everything always on sale? I mean everything. We have got some good deals over the years but I call this place a women's store. And there aren't enough benches around in the store to wait on the Mrs to get done shopping. Instead you have to wait between the doors where depending on the time of year its cold, or hot.
Clean, well organized store. I like that I can get cheap play clothes for my kids and nicer brands too!
