My husband and I bought our very first dog from Puppies Unlimited. We got a 5month old Maltipoo, and I am so glad we got him out of there. We got him for a great price, since he was older, which was nice. But the girl there new absolutely nothing about him, she didn't even know they had Maltipoos in the store, she had to call her boss
Got a Australian shepherd from them brought him home not even 2 hours later he started coughing took him to my vet Because i gess i did not get the warrenty with him so i could not take to there vet found out he has kennel cough. They told me that the puppy i got was the runt and the owner was going to shoot him because of his problums, one ball, and hurnea.
I went with my 6 year old to look at some possible puppy choices. Some of the dogs where mixed in with other dogs! Place stunk! Urine an feces all over animals. Dogs fighting in the bigger breed cages an the worker an who ever joined her just looked at each other an laughed. Upon observing other animals my 6 year old noticed one in particular that was in a cage in the back of the store(an yes the door was wide open) i asked the worker if i could see that puppy an her reply was “hes asleep” when i knew the puppy was in fact dead. Decided to buy what we thought was a “female” schih-maltese puppy an come to find out she gave us the wrong dog resulting in numerous phone calls from the store to return the puppy but we decided to keep him. Should of went back for the other one! I took who is now named “marshall” to petsmart to have him groomed an the groomer said he was terribly dirty, they had to bathe him atleast three times an even that didnt take all the stentch off his coat. The groomer also advised me that she didnt recommend that place because they rescue puppies from “puppy mills” an re sell them! Which is horrible!!! My dog is an unregistered breed an we ended up paying nearly $700 for him! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE, but at the same time i will for the puppies sake due to poor living conditions!
Mill, steer clear. Don't feed into demand so they supply. Adopt at your local shelter!
The hours on their door are not correct. It's Friday which says they open at 11. It's 11:30 and no one is to be seen. If your going to have hours posted they should he followed.
Despite all of the awfulness there, we are absolutely loving on our little guy. He is a perfect addition to our little family :)
