How can you beat it? Close to home. Cheapest place we've found. Quiet. Everyone is friendly. Fishing with no license needed. We were here last year a couple times, here this year and see no reason why we won't be back again. As for kid stuff? Playground, fishing, walk through the woods, play tennis, play basketball, throw a baseball or football. Plenty to do. There are pavilions open if you have a party, even saw one with a city park style grill next to it. Surrounded by "corn belt" farm fields makes it peaceful. Enjoy your camping here.
A beautifully maintained campground! Wonderful owners, helpful and friendly staff as well as lots to do; fishing, paddle boat, swimming, a sand beach, playground, shuffleboard, and basketball courts- so much to do! All in a family friendly atmosphere. I come here about every week or so and love it! Great campers along side you too! I love it here
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE FOLKS! IF YOU HAVE KIDS YOU'D BETTER THINK AGAIN! BECAUSE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO AT THIS CAMPGROUND! THE ONE SPOT WHERE KIDS CAN PLAY HAS BEES INFESTED AND I'M NOT TALKING A FEW BEES. I'M TALKING HUNDREDS OF BEES! THE LAKE AND PLAY EQUIPMENT SIT EMPTY BECAUSE OF THE BEES. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE ELSE READS THIS REVIEW AND NEVER COMES TO THIS MANURE HOLE! I SAY MANURE HOLE BECAUSE ALL YOU CAN SMELL IS COW MANURE! FROM SUN UP TO SUN DOWN! COW POOP! WHILE YOUR ENJOYING YOUR S'MORE'S COW POOP! IT'S ALMOST COMICAL. THE SHOW THEY ARE RUNNING OUT THERE. THEY HAD TWO WOMEN RIDING AROUND ON GOLF CARTS EACH TALKING TO US AT DIFFERENT TIMES, TELLING US TWO SEPARATE THINGS ABOUT PARKING AND THEN NOT COMMUNICATING WITH ONE ANOTHER. CAUSING A SITUATION TO OCCUR THAT WAS TOTALLY UNAVOIDABLE.

This is the place for my wife and me. We are retired so we enjoy a quiet comfortable place to stay. Been to many KOA's and Good Sam parks and this place beat all of them. Not a great place if you have children but that is exactly why we loved it. We will stay there again when we are in the area.
I'm a new seasonal camper here and really like Meadowlake, the owner Ron is surpassed by none and was really helpful prior to me coming here answering all my questions or directing me to who could. It stays very quiet here for a relaxing evening even when park is full for holidays. Very pet friendly for responsible owners.
